وليد بن محي الدين المعلم الدليمي (1941 -)، وزير الخارجية الجمهورية العربية السورية. من مواليد دمشق من أصل عربي قبلي يعود نسبه إلى زبيد، وهو دمشقي من عائلات دمشق التي سكنت حي المزه، من حواضر الدليم الزبيدية المنتشرة في الوطن العربية.
درس في المدارس الرسمية من عام 1948 ولغاية 1960 حيث حصل على الشهادة الثانوية من طرطوس. وبعد ذلك التحق بجامعة القاهرة وتخرج فيها عام 1963 وهو حائز على بكالوريوس في الاقتصادوالعلوم السياسية.
