Official spokesman of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Azad Jindiani said it is natural when Iraq’s neighboring countries insisted on securing peace and stability in Iraq for their interests, making efforts to contribute to ending the country ‘s political stalemate. Speaking to Sharq al-Awsat newspaper, Jindiani added that the PUK expected that all neighboring countries would have a balanced position toward all Iraqi political factions and blocs but “ unfortunately Turkey did not have such position”.

On late Thursday both Politburos of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) hold a meeting in Erbil under the supervision of the PUK secretary general’s first deputy Kosrat Rasul Ali and KDP Politburo’s Secretary Fadhel Merani. During the meeting, they discussed the latest political developments in Iraq and the efforts of forming the new government, as well as discussing the dialogues held by Kurdistan Coalition Blocs in Baghdad with the other Iraqi blocs.
