Making speech to mothers of soldiers killed in action
BEIRUT - Syrian first lady Asma al-Assad on Tuesday appeared in a 14-minute video while welcoming twenty mothers of government army ''martyrs'' to the presidential palace in Damascus.
Uploaded on the Syrian presidential office website, the video also contains statements by mothers of soldiers who lost their lives during the two-year uprising against President Bashar al-Assad.
In the video, the first lay smiles while welcoming and hugging the mothers, who smile back at her.
