DFLP calls for rebuilding Nahr al-Bared

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) held a sit-in in front of UNRWA's representative office in the Beddawi refugee camp in the North, to call for the rebuilding of the Nahr al-Bared camp. Nahr al-Bared was destroyed in May 2007, after members of the radical Fatah al-Islam organization took over the camp and the Lebanese Army waged a three-month long battle to regain control of the area.
